Ingredients of My Tuna Salad

  1. It's 2 cans of tuna (in water).
  2. You need 2 of hard boiled eggs.
  3. Prepare 1 of large stalk celery, diced (optional).
  4. It's 2 tbsp of sweet relish or diced dill pickles.
  5. It's 2 tbsp of white onion (minced).
  6. It's 2 tsp of yellow mustard.
  7. You need 2 tsp of dried parsley.
  8. You need to taste of Salt and pepper.
  9. You need 1/2 tsp of dried dill weed.
  10. It's 1/2 tsp of celery seed.
  11. It's 1/2 tsp of hot sauce (I use Frank's Red Hot Sauce).
  12. It's 1 tsp of lemon juice.

It is creamy, fluffy and flavorful. To give my tuna salad dressing flavor, I make sure to add in a little lemon juice to brighten it up and cut through the heaviness of the mayonnaise. I add a couple sliced green onions to add a little savory. This tuna salad is quick and easy to make, and it keeps well in the refrigerator for a few days.

My Tuna Salad step by step

  1. In a medium pot boil 2 large eggs..
  2. Add drained tuna to bowl and gently break up large chunks..
  3. Add eggs, mayonnaise, celery, pickles, onion, mustard, parsley, salt, pepper and/or optional dill, celery seed, hot sauce, and lemon juice..
  4. Gently stir everything together and serve in a sandwich, with crackers or on a salad. Or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use. Enjoy!.

I use plain Greek yogurt in my tuna salad recipe. You can use mayonnaise instead, if you prefer. This healthy tuna pasta salad recipe is tasty, filling, and great for a light summer meal. I'm really pleased with how this tuna pasta salad turned out. In my opinion, it's a perfectly balanced meal.
